Title:
Hunting Snake
Concept statement:
Hunting Snake is a 2D game which player is a tiny snake and gains the score by hunting the foods around them to make it grows in size.
Genre:
Hunting Snake is a 2D arcade game using input basic movement to control. The player needs to move around and collect the food but avoiding to eat its own body or hitting the wall.
Concept creation process:
The inspiration I get to make this game is basically from others snake-game that has been made before. Especially, when it was on the Nokia phone back to the years from early 2000s when the mobile phone with keypad was common. It was my childhood game when I was a kid who usually borrowed mom’s old mobile phone to play snake-game. So, it left a very deep inspiration for me to decide make this game.
Audience:
The game ideally targets to children from age of 6 – 10 who may not have permission to play kind of 12+ age games but their parents still want a simple and easy game for their children to play the game for relaxing.
Treatment:
You will control the snake to collect the foods which are the rabbits respawn randomly in different positions to make you grow in length. The longer snake is, the more difficult to control your snake and you have to avoid hitting your body or the wall that could kill you.
Key Features:
- Moving up, down, right, left to control the snake movement.
- Collect the target to grow and gain score.
- Reset the game if the game is over.
- Main menu to show settings, how to play.
